Here are figurines of Miguel, the main character, on sale next to the Panteón General in Oaxaca City. (to the left is Hector!)

I don't think these are a very good likeness of Miguel. Let's just say that copyright protection of animated characters is not the strongest in Mexican street markets...

In recent years Halloween and Día de los Muertos have become slightly blurred in parts of Mexico, as many children dress up and go trick-or-treating.

This lovely girl dressed as Snow White gives me a slightly haunting look as she rides a carousel in the carnival zone next to Oaxaca City's Panteón General.

I neglected to record the name of this young lady with a fabulous and colorful catrina outfit, posing in the tombs of Oaxaca City's Panteón General. I believe she was a visitor from Mexico City.
