I am pleased to join a group of thirty artists in a benefit Art Fair this Saturday at Palazzo del Valle, a luxury resort in the Guadalupe Valley.
The fair will be from noon to 7 p.m. and feature many of Baja California's top artists.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Ensenada's Contemporary Music Institute of Baja California.
There is an cover charge of $35, which includes food and musical entertainment including jazz and opera recitals.
It should be a great day, hope to see you there!

Estero Beach Hotel, south of Ensenada, Baja California, is one of my favorite spots to relax, and is more special for the birding at its estuary (estero). I spent a morning and evening photographing there in early August.

I am pleased to announce that I will have a booth at the Sassy Fine Art Festival this Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The festival will take place at Hacienda 43, a restaurant located at Kilometer 43 on the free road from Rosarito to Ensenada.
There will be live music and two dozen artists present.
I had a meal at the restaurant recently, and can attest that it is delicious!

This may be the tastiest meal I had in my trip to the states of Guanajuato and Michoacán during the autumn of last year. It may have been the least expensive, as well, purchased from a roadside stand on the outskirts of Pátzcuaro.
Just pork, rice, beans, tortillas, and a glass of Jamaica (hibiscus drink).
