The Red-crowned Woodpecker looks a lot like the Gila Woodpecker and the Golden-fronted Woodpecker.
It is found in parts of Central and northern South America.

There are over 50 species of woodcreeper. All are like larger versions of our Brown Creeper, crawling up trees looking for small insects. All are found in Mexico, Central or South America.
The Montane Woodcreeper is found in the Andes of various South American countries.
