According to the Merlin guide, it "can be difficult to get a clear view" of the Fasciated Antshrike. It prefers habitat with tangles of vegetation.
Which is why this picture is not a clear view!
There are, I believe, sixteen species of chachalaca in Mexico, Central and South America. I'm now up to four, lots more to see!
This is the Gray-headed Chachalaca, the only chachalaca found in Panama.
