Southeast Arizona Birding: Beatty's Guest Ranch: Violet-crowned Hummingbird

Beatty's Guest Ranch, near Sierra Vista, Arizona, has a nice hummingbird viewing area, available for a small donation for visitors not staying there.

During my short visit the best bird was this Violet-crowned Hummingbird:

The Violet-crowned Hummingbird can be found in much of western Mexico. The only spot in the United States to see it is in Southeast Arizona.
