Last month I took a drive up one of my favorite roads, the Nate Harrison Grade. This unimproved road is a third way to drive up Palomar Mountain, and is the westernmost road (there is also the South Grade Road and East Grade Road).
I was hoping to find birds to photograph, but instead, I found fog! Between around 4,000 and 5,000 feet of elevation, it was totally socked in.
So, I got out my other camera, and photographed trees in the fog.
I'll be posting two or three of these pictures a day for the next few days.
