A Curve-billed Thrasher, photographed in the Benjamin Francis Johnston Botanical Garden in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico, in February of this year.
Benjamin Francis Johnston was a sugar magnate who helped found the town of Los Mochis. Much of his land now forms the lovely park in Los Mochis.
Los Mochis was founded by Americans in the late 1800's, and has a very different feel from other towns in Mexico since there is no Spanish influence.
