Here is a Lesser Roadrunner, photographed near Merida, Yucatan, in 2011. You've heard of the Greater Roadrunner? The Lesser Roadrunner differs in having fewer streaks in its throat and chest (mostly hidden in this photo) and being about four inches shorter. It is found in Western Mexico, the Yucatan, and Central America.
