I visited Ajijic, Jalisco in February of this year for only a few short hours, but while there marveled at the beautiful murals and other public art throughout the city.
I especially liked this one, by artist Jose Duran, and posted it on this blog.
While visiting Ajijic again in October of this year, I stopped in front of another mural, and recognized the same imaginative style. There was a vendor selling artwork in front of it, and I mentioned how much I liked it. He replied "I'm the artist"!
We had a long talk about his art, and it turns out he also is a designer, and designed the bed and breakfast we were staying in!
My travels in Mexico have afforded me the opportunity to meet so many friendly, talented, and fascinating people. One more!
Very nice !
