Though the European Starling is considered an invasive species on this continent, and takes away nesting space from many native birds, there is no denying that it is a striking bird, especially in the right light.
This bird was photographed in Point Reyes, California, in October 2015.
European Starlings indeed have very intricate and beautiful patterns and markings ! Very nice !
