Least Bittern

Now for some more birds!

Here is a Least Bittern, photographed at Lake Hodges recently, from a kayak. I heard the bird's unique chuckling song, and saw it fly back and forth between various stands of reeds. It showed itself a few times, and here is one shot I was able to get.
