Whenever a fishing boat leaves or returns to the San Felipe waterfront, general mayhem ensues among the gulls and pelicans as they hope to find fish discards, leftover from when the fishermen clean the fish.

- I am a photographer based in San Diego. I now specialize in bird photography, but also regularly photograph scenes of Mexico, Route 66, tennis, bicycle racing, flowers, and people.
