I have attended a number of bullfights this year but time constraints have prevented me from posting many photos from them. Yesterday I attended an enjoyable afternoon at Rancho Santa Alicia (southeast of Tijuana), of dining, music, and bullfights at their lovely stone arena. On of the matadors was Ismael Gomez "El Mayito" who is known for his supreme skill at placing the banderillas. Here the last rays of afternoon sun illuminate him as he gains the bull's attention.
