Borrego Sunset

Many photographers put down their cameras once the sun passes below the horizon. In Anza-Borrego State Park, the sun sets behind the mountains quite early, and the sky does not begin to change color until at least 30 to 45 minutes later. This shot, taken in June of this year, looks east from the visitors center towards Font's Point. The color is quite consistent with how it appeared in person.
