The town of San Ignacio is an oasis in an otherwise desert area of Baja California Sur. There is a small river and an large oasis of thousands of date palms. Here, a Double-crested Cormorant preens during the last light of the day.

- I am a photographer based in San Diego. I now specialize in bird photography, but also regularly photograph scenes of Mexico, Route 66, tennis, bicycle racing, flowers, and people.
