Could the iphone be an ideal street photography camera? Few people take any notice of someone looking into their phone nowadays, in fact, in some age groups, most are looking into their phones more than at the world!
The photos are sometimes grainy, but that's not a bad look for a candid street photo.
Here's a shot I took recently at the San Jose Museum of Art with my iphone.
I'm a big fan of using smartphones for street photography. They are great because they are small, easy to take everywhere and people are not intimidated by them. 15 years ago, I never would have imagined I would be taking pictures with my cell phone...

I'm still getting used to taking pictures with my phone, but it's certainly less noticeable than a large camera. It's a new world!
