Nesting Osprey

There has been a nesting pair of osprey for the past month or so at Robb Field, in Ocean Beach, California. They are using a nest previously built in a tall light fixture on the recreation fields. The chicks are nearly full sized now, and may be leaving the nest any day. I visited last Friday evening, and took this shot just before sunset.

Spotted Sandpiper

These little guys are seen around San Diego lakes, but almost never hold still for a photo! 

This one, at Lindo Lake last Friday, paused for an instant in a shaft of light just before sunset.

Now showing at a city attorney's office near you

Last Thursday I hung over twenty photos in the San Diego City Attorney's office. 

The City Attorney's office encompasses quite a few separate offices, actually, in the building at 1200 Third Avenue (across the plaza from the Civic Theater) in downtown San Diego. I hung ten bird photographs in the fifth floor waiting room, and eleven abstract flower photographs in the seventh floor waiting room.

The photos will hang for four months, and will be for sale. 

I am always pleased when a new audience is able to view my photography.
