I love color! 99% of my photos have lots of color. On occasion, though, the color in the photograph either does not contribute to the message, or simply gets in the way.
Here is a simple photo I took of stools at the Midpoint Cafe in Adrian Texas:
What little color there is did little for the photo, so I converted it to black and white, added a little old-fashioned sepia tone, a little blur and glow, and cropped slightly to eliminate distractions. It's not a masterpiece, but it's what I had in mind when I took the photo.
