I am a photographer based in San Diego. I now specialize in bird photography, but also regularly photograph bullfights, Mexico, Route 66, tennis, bicycle racing, flowers, and people. My work hangs in galleries in San Diego and elsewhere, and I am available for slide shows, lectures, and exhibitions.
I believe this is a great kiskadee, photographed in Valladolid, Mexico, in the Yucatan peninsula. Looking through a list of Yucatan birds, I now suspect that this may be a social flycatcher. Many sources say that they are nearly indistinguishable. Can anyone enlighten me?
